Both are well versed with deep progressive trance, having released material on Coldharbour, Armada and High Contrast. Packed with total “NuSkool” influences, this one was immediately picked for Arnej’s debut compilation for Arnej Music: Musical Evolution: The First Chapter. The complete pack includes remixes by Celluloid, Mike EFEX and Rave CHannel.

The simple kick-snare-clap combo gets deeper with the introduction of creepy bass lurking underneath it. Gentle synth washes and looped plucks carries the track over to the mini break at 4 minute mark. Screeching siren like lead is snuggled upon the already gritty layers of deep proggy sounds.! Strictly for the afterhours..!

Hitting the D in Deep even harder, is this brooding mix by Greek progressive act: Celluloid. Greek talents Christopher Vassilakis and recent Markus Schulz favourite Basil O’Glue team up to create more driving version of the original. Huge atmospheric synths make sure there’s no escape from its hypnotic vibe.!
Territory (Mike EFEX Remix):
Lots of glitch, lots of “EFEX” and behemoth of attitude. Californa’s Mher Ekezian aka Mike EFEX churns out a version with pure minimal techno bassline crossed with electro influences. Rollling percs and pluck loop also participates in making this the filthiest rework of the original.
Territory (Rave CHannel Remix):
Rave CHannel from Russia, injects an indispensable groove to the original, keeping the melodic essence intact. The magical piano break is a brilliant addition, as it lifts the atmosphere up a notch, whilst that high pitched but sweet pluck lead, makes you sway instantly with the majestic bassline..!
Though all mixes offers something worth going for, Rave CHannel’s more upbeat version does the trick for me. Deep yet bringing amazing harmonies and groove on the forefront makes it a must-have in the arsenal of any jock, genre no bar.!
