DJ, producer and songwriter Jean Claude Ades’ house label “SWINGS RECORDS” was, until recently, promoted by Great Stuff Music. Founded in 2005, Ades’ label is now going in a new direction. The SWINGS RECORDS trifecta consisting of Ades, label manager Agi Czumbil and his manager Markus Scholz, are taking things to new heights this summer. The relaunch is marked by a new logo, a new platform, and the new single “Personal Stereo” ft. Flunk, which will be released exclusively on Beatport on September, 23rd, 2011.The Original is a splendid combination of bouncy drums, rolling basslines, cool synth riffs all blended together with the captivating vocal. Perfect for a number of dancefloors. Remixes come courtesy of Subliminal Records regular Rony Seikaly. Heartik – heavily supported by Richie Hawtin, Steve Lawler, Riva Starr, Deadmau5, D.Ramirez, Chris Lake and Sebastien Leger and Lele Pasini – who has had previous releases on Azuli.
Now with the relaunch, a weekly radio show at Ibiza Global Radio and gigs at the legendary club Amnesia, SWINGS RECORDS is heading in exactly the right direction – aiming high, but also staying one step ahead. One step ahead of the mainstream and one step further than the rest. With the new start, SWINGS RECORDS stands for a new generation of deep-tech-house combined with driving melancholy vocals. All of this under the umbrella of musical freedom.
